Hi There!

I am Maria Rotariu, a designer living in Portland, OR.
Since 2013, I have used pixels and code to create thoughtful UI and UX solutions that aim to solve problems and enrich experiences across digital platforms. 

Currently, I am a Associate Director of Design at Formula.Monks working alongside a talented and smart team that builds new digital products and services.
Prior to that, my work's focus was improving college applications and admissions administration for 600+ universities and colleges across the US.

I believe design should be committed to empowering people to accomplish their goals effortlessly, quickly and delightfully.

In my free time, I like taking photos on old film cameras and doodling on paper.
